Sorry for the delay but El Conquistador was faced with quite the storm when returning back from Cape G to home base in SWFL...so there hasn't been much time to provide an update and put a bow on the 26th Annual WBWS.
The tournament was once again a rousing success. All told, the one day event raised close to $6,000.00 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Mallory Dames and Family. We want to thank all of our wonderful sponsors again for helping make this unique event such a success year after year...THANK YOU!
For the on the field update...congrats are in order for SEMO Sasquatch as they were able to squeak by TNT Bombers 13-4. This is the Squatch's 2nd tourney title in the past 4 years and they showed why they are a contender year after year with their play this year.
Thank you to everyone who either purchased a t-shirt, keychain, donated cash, donated prizes, made prizes to give away, etc. It's truly a community event and we're thankful to have such great friends and family who come together for a great cause one day out of the year...till next year!
